  1. West of Shetlands
    • Craster prospect added to exploration activities
    • Halifax prospect added to exploration activities – discovery made in March 2017 after wildcat well found a 1,156 metre oil column
    • Cambo field has changed hands after Siccar Point bought OMV’s UK subsidiary – development future is unclear Northern North Sea
    • Bentley field likely to proceed under another operator after Xcite Energy enter insolvency
    • Added Jock Scott prospect to exploration activities
    • Kidd project removed following BP’s decision to relinquish the licence
    • P.1995 (210/25b, 211/21b & 26b) licence removed from exploration activities after TAQA relinquished the licence in December 2016
  2. Central North Sea
    • Columbus development added to ‘Probable’ projects; Serica hope tie back to Lomond platform
    • Finlaggan field added to ‘Probable’ projects
    • Verbier prospect added to exploration activities – Statoil currently in the tender process for a rig
    • Partridge prospect added to exploration activities
    • P.2054 (30/1g) licence removed from exploration activities after Maersk relinquished the licence in December 2016
    • P.2058 (29/7b) and P.2038 (29/8b & 29/9a) licences removed from exploration activities after Shell relinquishment in November 2016
  3. Southern North Sea
    • IOG submit FDP for Blythe field
